Camp FAR Out
First Presbyterian Church (map)
July 30 through August 10, 2018 from 9:00-11:30 AM
Underwritten by the Samuel and Jean Frankel Foundation
Camp FAR Out is a two-week creative arts camp. All groups, along with their counselors, rotate among fun-filled therapeutic activity sessions including music, art, recreation and movement. To cap off all our wonderful activities, we will have a public performance on the last day for friends and family to enjoy.
A short interview with parents and campers new to FAR is required prior to admission to determine whether or not Camp FAR Out is a good fit. Returning campers must update their application each year.
Campers are assigned to groups according to their age and ability. Please note that any one-on-one assistance campers require must be provided by their family/caregiver.
Camp FAR Out is a great way for new clients and their families to try out our services and get to know our dedicated therapeutic staff!
Camp FAR Out has received a generous grant from the Samuel and Jean Frankel Foundation that underwrites most of the expense, allowing us to charge a low fee of $250. However, if payment presents a difficulty, please contact us to find out if you qualify for a scholarship.
A non-refundable deposit of $50 is required at time of registration. If your child is not admitted, your deposit will be refunded.
Camp FAR Out Registration Forms will be available in March 2018
